Graduated from Dalhousie University with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004. Currently employed as a clinical psychologist and Acting Program Manager at the Operational Trauma and Stress Support Centre (OTSSC) at CF Health Services Ottawa. The OTSSC is a specialized interdisciplinary outpatient program within CAF Mental Health Services that ensures comprehensive and consistent assessment and treatment of active military members with operational stress injuries (e.g., PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety), using evidence-based best practices. Other appointments held at CF Health Services include Interim Clinical Leader (June to Nov 2014) and Psychology Practice Leader (June to Nov 2014). Previously employed as a clinical psychologist at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic in Winnipeg (Oct 2009 to Aug 2013), which is a specialized interdisciplinary outpatient program that serves veterans of the Canadian Forces, current Forces members, and members of the RCMP with an operational stress injuries; and as a child psychologist at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax (Sept 2004 to Sept 2009). Most recent research projects have focused on the impact of military parents’ PTSD on child emotional and behavioural functioning.
