Ramsey Lake Pharma Corp. CEO, Sean Thompson, is an experienced drug development and business development executive having success in both big and small pharma.

Prior to founding Ramsey Lake Pharma (and sister companies AMRIC DC and Lilly Creek Vaccines), he served as Vice President, Corporate Development for YM BioSciences (now Gilead Sciences) where he led negotiating teams on several out-licensing transactions with pharma and conducted due diligence on many potential in-licensing and M&A transactions.

While he headed corporate development, the firm acquired companies in Canada (Delex Therapeutics), The United States (Eximias Pharma Corp) and Australia (Cytopia), as well as completing licensing transactions with Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore based companies. The company also completed several capital markets financings during his tenure, including public offerings in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

He previously held Clinical Development and Marketing positions with Roche and SmithKline Beecham (now GSK).

Mr. Thompson holds a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo.
