Steve has 20+ years’ experience in technology and marketing and is the VP Strategy of Communitech, one of the leading technology organizations in North America. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for the Start Up Services Group at Communitech where 600+ startups receive coaching and mentoring. During this time, his team launched HYPERDRIVE, an intensive accelerator for high growth startups. Steve has held senior marketing and biz dev. roles in multinationals such as Reynolds & Reynolds and Open Text and start ups and emerging companies such as Miovision, Northern Digital Inc. and Handshake VR. Steve takes an active role in the community and is a partner in Social Venture Partners Waterloo Region and is a board member of KidsAbility and Grand River Hospital Foundation.
