Dr. Susan Blank has been a leader in the field of Addiction Medicine for more than a decade.  After serving as Medical Director at Summit Psychiatric Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia, she began her career in this area under the pioneer of addiction medicine, Dr. Douglas Talbott where she served as staff psychiatrist at his Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta, Georgia.  She expanded her expertise in the treatment of addicted patients who suffer with chronic pain by being staff physician in addiction and pain management at Southeastern Pain Specialists and Southern Recovery Center.  From there she was appointed to serve as Executive Vice President of Treatment Services and Chief Medical Officer at the Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.  She is currently employed as Executive Vice President of Addiction Services for GreenStone Treatment Center in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada and serves as medical advisor for Calloway Labs, in their Addiction Service Line.

Dr. Blank has been active in the leadership of physicians who practice addiction medicine and is the incoming President of the Georgia Society of Addiction Medicine and serves on the Advisory Board of the Georgia Physician’s Health Program.

She a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.  She is a Fellow of the National Board of Forensic Examiners and a Certified Medical Review Officer.  She is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine.
