Ms. Joseph is an experienced policy and government relations professional with a passion for issues at the intersection of communities, energy and sustainable development. She began her career in contaminated site remediation before pursuing graduate studies in the use of remote sensing
technologies to enhance water quality protection in rural water distribution systems. Since then, she has built a reputation for effectiveness in program management, governance as well as public policy and advocacy. Ms. Joseph has held senior leadership positions at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, including as Senior Manager, Research and Development for the Green Municipal Fund and as founding Program Director of the $75 million Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Environmental Grantmakers Network (now known as Environment Funders Canada) and is currently on the Board of the Energy Council of Canada. Ms. Joseph is on the Advisory Council of Positive Energy and of the 2024 International Gas Research Conference (IGRC 2024).
Ms. Joseph holds a Bachelors of Civil Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. She is a professional engineer with the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
