The Hon. Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science & Economic Development to address the EC

11:30am-1:30pm | Hyatt Regency - 370 King Street West, Toronto

Competition, innovation, collaboration: Empowering Canadians to succeed in tomorrow’s economy.

How can Canada pull ahead in a highly disrupted and competitive global economy? And more importantly, how will Canadians benefit?

The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau was elected on a promise to invest in Canadians and give us the tools for success in tomorrow’s economy.

Three years into his mandate, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will visit the Economic Club of Canada to give us an update on his government’s innovation agenda and share exciting news about his government’s unprecedented collaboration with industry to develop a long-term plan to improve Canada’s competitiveness globally.

In his remarks, Minister Bains addresses the evolving role of government to support Canadian businesses’ ability to innovate and compete, with insight from many of Canada’s most successful industry leaders and pioneers.
