Robert Ghiz, CWTA President & CEO to Address the EC

11:30am-1:30pm | The Fairmont Royal York - 100 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5J 1E3, Toronto

Another wireless revolution is coming to Canada. The fifth generation of wireless networks (5G) is set to create jobs and drive innovation – adding as much as $40 billion in annual GDP and 250,000 permanent new jobs to the Canadian economy by 2026, according to a recent report from Accenture. But these benefits are not guaranteed. Canada must take action if it wishes to remain a global leader in the coming 5G wireless world.

Join the Economic Club of Canada for a special address by Robert Ghiz, President & CEO of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association. Robert will discuss the 5G wireless revolution, what it will mean for Canadians, and what Canada needs to do to harness its potential. After delivering his keynote, Robert will also sit for a special fireside chat led by The Globe and Mail's Christine Dobby.
