A Legendary Night, World Autism Awareness Day Event

5:30pm-8:00pm | Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - 1 Front St E, M5E 1B2, Toronto

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects the way a person relates to the people and world around them. It is clinically defined as a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder with impairments in social communication, including language, and a pattern of repetitive stereotyped behaviours.

1 in every 66 Canadians are diagnosed with autism.

Jake’s House and the Economic Club of Canada have partnered together to create a special event, in celebration of World Autism Day. The evening will feature a discussion on the current Canadian autism landscape, informing and connecting the audience. Individuals with autism, existing supports and potential new advocates are welcome to attend and unite through one inspiring voice: that of Supertramp’s Roger Hogson. Accompanied by his 8-piece band and 39-member orchestra Roger Hogson will perform live the hit song Give a Little Bit and several other fan favourites.

Jake’s House has adopted a one-for-one ticketing model for this event. Every ticket purchased will fund a ticket for an individual affected by autism.

The conversation held at A Legendary Night will kick off Jake’s House 2019-2020 campaign, Give a Little Bit.
