Barry Fishman is President & CEO of Teva Canada. Teva is the largest generic drug company with almost 50,000 employees worldwide. Teva products are used globally in over one billion prescriptions each year. The company has a growing presence in branded pharmaceuticals - treating patients in a variety of therapeutic categories including neuroscience, respiratory and women’s health.
After graduating from McGill University in Montreal with a concentration in finance, he went on to become a CPA while working for Deloitte in Southern California.
Barry began working in the healthcare field with Eli Lilly in Toronto. He spent almost two decades in a variety of disciplines including human resources, supply chain, business development and marketing.
He has attended various executive education programs at leading universities and has been a guest lecturer on leadership and business strategy.
Barry is the Chair of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the Childhood Cancer Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer, and recently joined the Board of the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
